Things Are Not Always as They Seem-Be Patient with Yourselves
There are a few fundamental things I feel I do clearly see now in my life. One of these, which have been reintegrated time and time again to me by my mentors, is that we are often very impatient with ourselves in our learning, wanting to know it all right now so we can get on with whatever we are trying to do. The real jewels of wisdom don’t always come quickly, although it can happen!
We have come out of a couple of decades of inundation of ‘self-help’ videos, speakers, books etc….Choose carefully what you feel intuitively(more about this concept later) is the right wisdom for you at that very time in your life. Confusion regarding finding wisdom has been common with so much to choose from (more on this below in “You, Your Spiritual Self and Gurus”) View it just like technology-we need to be picky about how and when we pick it up.
There are many wonderful people who truly want to share their wisdom in the hope that it will be helpful to others and there are also people who have seen there is also money to be made in selling whatever their idea of happiness is and how to get it-usually the ‘quick fix’. Again, one of the reasons in this blog, there will be no mention of the coined term of happiness (more on this later with Dr. Weil’s input).
